Plural School
Category: Architecture, Plural School, Portfolio

Plural Elementary School was a group entry for the 2009 ACSA Steel design competition.

“The school revolves around an older preserved core and a periphery organized along modern planning principles, but maintaining strong ties with the mature building. This coexistence is established to conserve a sense of identity, and keep alive the city’s character and specificity of culture. We must stress the importance of local historical determinants in the definition, growth, and future of Greenville’s youth to ensure that they continue to participate in the city’s well-being.”

My responsibilities included design direction and planning, illustration, rendering, presentation design, 3D modeling, and narrative development and implementation. Illustrations were created in Adobe Illustrator, renderings in Photoshop, and 3D modeling in SketchUp.
